Hi I’m Molly! Welcome to my website! Here you will find everything you need to know about my long arm quilting business. Soon I will be adding instructions for projects I have designed. I’m so glad you are here!
I founded my longarm quilting business, Lovely Threads, in 2004. However, my quilting journey began as a very young child as I watched my mom and grandma create quilts and clothing for their families. I have always loved creating all types of crafts, but after my first child was born, I decided to focus my time on quilting. I love helping quilters of all styles and backgrounds finish their quilting projects. I use designs found in the patterns and fabrics of each quilt to add finishing touches that enhance each quilt’s style.
My personal projects are a mix between traditional and modern. I’m a scrappy girl at heart and usually choose to mix fabric lines with whatever I have in my stash. I have a background in Interior Design, but I would much rather be designing quilts! Choosing fabrics and creating my own quilt designs is my favorite part of the process.
When I’m not quilting I’m chasing my three kiddos to all of their practices and sporting events. I also love to read, bake cookies, and eat cookies. As a family we enjoy hiking and spending time outside. We love to hang out in the back yard and cook all kinds of summer food. We have two dogs, both Beagles who we consider part of the family.
